Introduction
Feeding can be interpreted in two ways in cement
production: as final product feed, such as the delivery of
cement to the top of and into the silo through a dense
phase system, utilising numerous valves or diverters to
deliver the end-product to the correct silo; or as feeding
and dosing, the delivery of chemicals to the process by
use of pumps. This article will examine both scenarios.
