in 2020, FCT Combustion has now been
awarded a contract to supply Vinacomin’s
La Hien cement plant with a Turbu-Jet burner.
The target of the project is to reduce fuel
costs by achieving good operation with
lower calorific value coal, while maintaining
clinker strength and improving specific fuel
consumption.
Lam Thach Cement
FCT Combustion delivered a Turbu-Flex
burner to Lam Thach cement in late 2019, to
reduce fuel consumption and improve clinker
quality.
Following the commissioning of the
Turbu-Flex in Kiln 2, FCT Combustion is
now supplying another Turbu-Flex for Kiln 1
at the plant, which will enable the firing of
alternative fuel in addition to coal whilst also
ensuring sufficient capacity for an increase
in clinker production. The second Turbu-Flex
was recently delivered in May 2020 with
commissioning to follow.
Song Lam Line 4, Song Lam Cement JSC
Loesche received an order from
Song Lam Cement JSC in Vietnam for
the supply of a vertical roller mill type
LM 65.4+4 CS. The Loesche mill type
LM 65.4+4 CS is used for grinding granulated
blast furnace slag and clinker.
The delivery time for the mill will be
8 – 14 months. In addition to the mills,
Loesche will supply the conveying equipment
for the raw material transport, process
gas filters, an external reject system, the
electronics, automation and services.
Tan Quang Cement, Vinacomin
FCT Combustion successfully
commissioned a new Turbu-Jet
™
burner for
Vinacomin’s Tan Quang cement plant in
January 2020.
The new burner is capable of firing low
calorific value coal and diesel oil, with the main
objectives being improved clinker strength and
production, reduced fuel costs, and the re-use
of existing ancillary equipment.
The project follows the commissioning of a
Turbu-Jet
™
at Vinacomin’s Quan Trieu plant in
2019, where the burner significantly reduced
fuel costs with lower grade fuel while also
increasing capacity and maintaining quality.
Thanh Thang, Thanh Thang Cement JSC
At the beginning of 2020 Loesche received
a follow-up order from Thanh Thang Group
Cement JSC in Vietnam to supply two vertical
roller mills.
The two mills are destined for a new
cement line at the Bong Lang cement plant in
Ha Nam province. The new cement line is a
greenfield project. The contract customer for
this project is Sinoma-NCDRI, a long-standing
Loesche partner in international cement plant
construction.
The two new Loesche mills type
LM 53.3+3 CS have a capacity of 180 tph.
The scope of supply also includes two rotary
feeders, metal detectors and sealing air fans.
Both mills will be equipped with the latest
generation of Loesche LDC classifiers.
The delivery time for the mills will be
8 – 14 months. Commissioning is scheduled
for the end of 2021.
In the past, Thanh Thang Group Cement
JSC has already successfully relied on
Loesche mill technology. For several years
now, two mills of the type LM 60.6 RM and
two mills of the type LM 53.3+3 CS have been
in operation.
Additionally, Bedeschi was awarded the
package for the complete supply of all the
raw material crushing units, transporting and
storage machines for the Thanh Thang cement
plant. The plant with a cement production
capacity of 10 000 tpd, includes the new
handling system from Bedeschi that is in full
operation. Bedeschi not only supplied the
complete handling equipment, but conceived
and designed the overall layout of the storages
for raw materials and coal. The supply
includes:

1 crusher for limestone with a capacity up
to 850 tph.
f
1 circular storage for limestone with
a stacking capacity of 850 tph and a
reclaiming capacity of 350 tph.
f
1 crushing group for clay with an apron
feeder and a double roller crusher, suitable
to crush sticky and moist material, with a
capacity of 300 tph.
f
1 longitudinal storage with a stacking and
reclaiming system able to handle difficult
types of material including raw material
additives (clay, iron ore, silica) made up of
a luffing stacker with a capacity of 300 tph
and a bucket reclaimer with a capacity of
200 tph.
f
4 receiving stations with apron feeder
and double roller crushers for different
materials such as limestone, clay, coal,
gypsum.
f
1 stacking and reclaiming system for coal
with a luffing and travelling stacker with a
capacity of 200 tph.
f
1 side type scraper reclaimer with a
capacity of 100 tph.
