Bricking Solutions supplied CMS Cement

Industries Sdn Bhd with a Safety Inspection

Cage designed for a 4 m kiln, which allows

two workers to safety walk underneath coating

for inspection or repair work. The safety cage

is designed custom to each kiln size and

brick profile. The cage is rated to withstand

debris weighing 114 kg (250 lb) dropped from

915 mm (36 in.). Each cage is designed with

6061-T6 aluminium making it strong but also

lightweight.

Nepal

Samrat Cement Ltd.

Humboldt Wedag India received an

important order from Samrat Cement in

the last quarter of 2019 for an upgrade

project wherein a ball mill of 3.4 m x 11 m

is being upgraded with a roller press

RP16-170/180 for an output production of

210 tph OPC from an initial production of

55 tph. The scope of supply includes all

mechanical and electrical equipment within

battery limit.

Sunwal, Palpa Cement Industries Private

Limited

The Gebr. Pfeiffer vertical mill in Nepal for

Palpa Cement Industries Private Limited

was installed at the plant in the town of

Sunwal, in the district of Nawalparasi.

The MVR 3350 C-4 with a drive power

of 2150 kW is designed to grind 130 tph

of cement at 3000 Blaine and 100 tph of

blast-furnace cement at 3800 Blaine.

Commissioning of the mill took place in

August 2019.

Pakistan

D.G. Khan Cement Company Limited –

Kalar Kahar

Bricking Solutions supplied a Burner

Alignment Device with mounting fixture

and Kiln Laser Target to D.G. Khan Cement

Company Limited.

The Burner Alignment Device includes a

mounting fixture that attaches to the face of

the burner. A laser beam is then projected

from the mounting fixture into the kiln at a

self-centring target for quick and easy burner

adjustments to find the centre line of the kiln.

The company also supplied a Universal

Safety Cage to Khan Cement Company

Limited.

Kohat Cement

Kohat Cement Company Limited has

successfully commenced commercial

operations from its Brownfield Expansion

Project of 7800 tpd Grey Cement Production

Line (including WHR power plant) from

27 January 2020. After setting up the

additional line, the total installed cement

production capacity of the company has grown

from 2 953 500 tpy to 5 293 500 tpy, showing

a capacity increase of up to 80%.

At its North (KPK) plant, Lucky Cement

has recently installed an additional line of

2.8 million tpy, which has increased the

company’s total production capacity from

9.35 million t to 12.15 million tpy.
