Boral Cement Geelong Terminal, Boral Cement
IBAU Hamburg has been awarded with a
contract for the design and supply of four
3500 m³ bolted steel silos with truck loading
stations for Boral Cement’s Geelong Terminal.

Bricking Solutions was comissioned to supply
a Ez Flexx50 Bricking machine with a 5.2 m
long working deck and a 6000 kg live load
capacity to Cement Australia. The machine
was designed for a 4.4 – 4.8 m range. The
flexible arch allows for easy adjustments inside
the kiln for either minor kiln distortion, or to
accommodate conical sections or ovality. The
machine is assembled with pin connections,
and symmetrical part designs allow assembly
to be completed without tools, in under two
hours. All components are modular and can fit
through a 1 m x 1 m door.
Bricking Solutions also supplied
a Port-A-Trac System, with a 35 ft track
(3 – 5 in./1.5 m sections and 2 – 10 in./3 m
sections), two pallet carts, and one electric
winch with snatch block.

an order with IBAU Hamburg for the detailed
engineering of a 45 000 t multicompartment
silo in Melbourne, Australia.

Humboldt Wedag India is to install a
grinding unit of 320 tph in Bangladesh for
Unique Cement. The company has chosen
the most popular model Roller press, the
RP 16-170/180, which will work in semi finish
mode with a ball mill of 4.6 x 14.5 m, static
separator (VC 3250 & VS 96/20) and a
dynamic separator (SKS Z 3000).

Thai Boon Roong Cement Plant
The Thai Boon Roong Cement Plant, was
inaugurated in November 2019 and built on
678 ha. in the Dangtong district. It is capable
of producing 2500 tpd of cement, or nearly
1 million tpy.

Lubao Cement Plant, LOESCHE supplied one
vertical roller mill type LM 56.4 RM for raw
material grinding, two LOESCHE vertical roller
mills type LM 56.2+2 CS for cement grinding,
and one LOESCHE vertical roller mill type
LM 35.3 D for coal grinding.
Jining Conch Cement Co., Ltd, Anhui Conch
With the gradual improvement of emissions
standards for nitrogen oxides and ammonia
slip in the cement industry, major cement
manufacturers are meeting new emissions
requirements in various ways. As one of
the leading enterprises in the industry,
Anhui Conch Cement Co., Ltd. is at the
forefront. By using selective catalytic
reduction denitrification (SCR) technology
from thyssenkrupp, the 5000 tpd cement
production line of Jining Conch is hoped
to successfully achieve the most stringent
emission standards for Chinese cement
production.
After approximately five months of
construction, the high dust SCR system
by thyssenkrupp became operational in
Jining Conch in August 2019. thyssenkrupp’s
high temperature and high dust SCR
system can realise the denitrification of
340 000 Nm
3
/h flue gas. With this high dust
SCR system, Jining Conch Cement Plant can
keep NO
x
emissions below 100 mg/Nm
3
and
ammonia slip below 8 mg/Nm
3
.
Shanya South Cement company (CNBM)
Shanya South Cement company also opted
for a full-scale lab system from thyssenkrupp
including a complete automatic sampling and
pneumatic transport system, inclusive of hot
meal and clinker sampling.
