selected to supply a 4500 tpd kiln line for the

plant. Equipment included:

Transportation and dosing of kiln meal, kiln

dedusting, preheater, kiln, bypass, clinker

cooler, prepol SC, dedusting of clinker,

cooler.

Additional scope of supply included:

Delivery and assembly of steel construction

and refractory, assembly of mechanical

equipment, and commissioning.

Greece

Kamari plant, Titan Greece

To increase the firing rate of SSF in the kiln,

Titan Kamari purchased two satellite burners

from Unitherm for their kiln. Additionally, to the

secondary fuel channels inside the existing

M.A.S. burners, the satellite burners will increase

the substitution rate. The scope of supply

includes satellite burners with burner trolley for

optimum burner adjustment.

Ireland

Limerick, Irish Cement Ltd

Fives will supply one Pillard NOVAFLAM burner

for the rotary kiln.

Italy

Cementeria Costantinopoli SRL

Cementeria Costantinopoli, based in Barile (PZ) –

Italy, awarded Bedeschi a contract for the supply

of a storage system for clinker with 1 bridge

stacker type STK P and 1 bridge bucket reclaimer

type BEL C.

The system consists of:

1 set of belt conveyors.

1 bridge stacker STK P 25/1000.

1 bridge reclaimer BEL C 160/21.

With the combination of the bridge and reclaimer

running, it is possible to reclaim material from the

whole storage surface. The reclaiming is done

from the bottom of the pile; the buckets discharge

the reclaimed material onto the belt conveyor

installed on the reclaiming bridge which feeds the

material to the plant belt conveyor parallel to the

main rails and storage walls.

This type of stacking and consequent

reclaiming allows for the reclaiming of material

from different layers assuring a very high mixing

effect.

Bulk density: 1.4 t/m

Grain size: 0 – 40 mm (to be confirmed).

Total stored volume: 15 400 m³.

LafargeHolcim Italy

Gorco has been selected to carry out a new

dedusting installation for the discharge of

trucks to hopper for alternative fuels at the

LafargeHolcim Italy plant. Gorco will supply a

dust collector for 10 000 m

/h with a special

design adapted to the specific type of dust and

its properties. The installation will be supplied

through Schenck Process.

Matera plant, Italcementi S.P.A.

Fives will supply a new Pillard NOVAFLAM

burner with the purpose of firing large amounts of

alternative fuels.

Kyrgyzstan

Bischkek plant, Kantcement

Unitherm was awarded the supply of a new

rotary kiln burner to Bischkek in Kyrgyzstan. The

rotary kiln burner with a thermal

capacity of 50 MW is designed for the combined

firing of coal and natural gas.

Macedonia

Cementarnica Usje, TITAN

Fives supplied a Pillard NOVAFLAM burner

upgrade to the plant.

Moldova

Ribnitsky Cement plant

Ribnitsky Cement, Moldova, has awarded

IBAU Hamburg with a contract for the delivery of

a pump transport from the existing raw mill to the

raw meal silos. The equipment set includes screw

pump, compressor and engineering.

Netherlands

Cantilana

Cantilana was already equipped with three small

vacuum cleaners that became obsolete and

inappropriate for the new cleaning requirements.

Increased production causes an increased need for

cleaning. Also, in addition to regular surface cleaning,

deposits of material accumulate in hard-to-reach

areas (bucket elevators and under three bagging

areas). One or two operators must clean up the site

quickly at the end of the working day.

Standard Industrie offered a machine that would

be placed outside and connected to a fixed network

with six vacuum inlets.

Standard Industrie set up a lease over

12 months for the customer. In addition,

as second-hand equipment was available

immediately, they benefited from a short deadline

for implementation.
